CSE Project Competition Held at ULAB

The Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) at ULAB successfully organized the CSE Project Competition for Spring 2026 on April 16, 2026. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from approximately 38 teams, showcasing innovative ideas and technical excellence.

The team “AI Talent Match” emerged as the Champion, with members Redwan Ahamad Samir, Bahadur Zamn Shezan, and Samia Rahman. The 1st Runner-Up position was secured by team “PayGuard,” consisting of Md. Shahriar Alam, Md. Mehedi Hassan Mahin, Mahatab Hossain Faiz, and Md. Abu Hurayra. The 2nd Runner-Up was team “Nirbhoy,” with members Saiful Islam, Md. Fahad Al Noman, and M. M. Rafsanjani Showrav.

Professor Muhammad Golam Kibria, Head of the CSE Department, extended his sincere thanks to all winners, participants, and faculty members for their valuable support and active participation. All top three teams were awarded prizes and certificates, while members of the top 13 teams received certificates in recognition of their efforts. The competition served as a platform for students to demonstrate their creativity, problem-solving abilities, and practical skills in computing.
