Knowledge Dissemination Workshop on Transfer Learning at ULAB

The Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) at the University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh (ULAB) successfully hosted a Knowledge Dissemination Workshop on "Cross-project Software Defect Prediction using Transfer Learning" on November 13, 2024. This event aimed to bridge the gap between theoretical concepts and real-world applications in the field of Transfer Learning, particularly in unlabelled data classification.

Ms. Suravi Akhter, Lecturer at the CSE Department, served as the resource person for the workshop. She provided insightful discussions on the foundational principles of Transfer Learning and demonstrated its practical applications in software defect prediction across diverse projects. The interactive session benefited third- and fourth-year undergraduate students, alongside other CSE students eager to deepen their understanding of cutting-edge machine learning techniques.
