ULAB CSE Summer 2025 Freshers' Orientation

The Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) at the University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh (ULAB) organized the Summer 2025 Freshers' Orientation on May 29, 2025, at the ULAB Campus.

Professor Dr. Mahbubur Rahman, Dean of the School of Science and Engineering, delivered an inspiring speech to the freshers, encouraging them to explore the diverse opportunities available at ULAB. He emphasized the importance of becoming responsible global citizens and well-rounded individuals.

The event began with a welcome address by Professor Dr. Muhammad Golam Kibria, Acting Head of the CSE Department. He introduced the department's faculty members and provided an overview of the academic programs.

Ms. Rubaiya Hafiz, Course Coordinator, presented the Outcome-Based Education (OBE) curriculum and shared important academic guidelines. Additionally, Mr. Aktaruzzaman Pramanik, Advisor of the ULAB Computer Programming Club (UCPC), introduced the UCPC Executive Committee members. He also highlighted the various opportunities for student engagement through ULAB’s clubs, as well as co-curricular and extracurricular activities. The orientation program was hosted by Khadija Chowdhury Safa and organized with the support of the ULAB Computer Programming Club (UCPC).
