CSE Department’s Panel Discussion on AI & Employability Successfully Held - 27 November 2025

The Department of CSE at ULAB successfully organized a Panel Discussion on “AI & Employability: Building Soft Skills for a Changing Job Market” on 27 November 2025.

The event began with a welcome address by Professor Jude William R. Genilo, Acting Vice Chancellor of ULAB. He highlighted the growing significance of AI in today’s world and encouraged students to embrace AI-driven learning to stay competitive in the future job market.

The session was moderated by Dr. Rezwan Al Islam Khan, Associate Professor, CSE Department. Throughout the discussion, panelists shared valuable insights on how AI is reshaping the workplace and the essential soft skills required for future careers. Panel members included Mr. Monzur Ahmed, Senior Cloud Architect, Oracle, Mr. Asif Atick, CEO, HeadBlocks, Mr. Md. Mostafizur Rahman, CEO, Sigma Solutions, and Mr. Mahmudul Haque Azad, CEO, Craftsmen. Faculty members and students actively engaged, making the session both lively and informative.

Professor Muhammad Golam Kibria, Head of the CSE Department, emphasized the need to prepare students with the right combination of technical expertise and soft skills to ensure industry readiness. At the end of the program, the panel members were presented with tokens of appreciation for their contributions and valuable time.
