ULAB CSE Hosted a Seminar on Entrepreneurship and Startups

The Department of Computer Science and Engineering successfully organized a seminar titled “Student Pathways to Building Globally Competitive Startups” on 08 April 2026.

The session featured Md. Al-Amin Sarker, CEO of Barikoi Maps and Co-founder of AmarBike, as the resource person. He shared valuable insights on entrepreneurial journeys, startup challenges, and global competitiveness, inspiring students to think beyond conventional career paths and pursue innovation-driven entrepreneurship. Students enthusiastically joined the session and actively participated in the discussion.

At the end of the program, Professor Muhammad Golam Kibria, Head of the CSE Department, emphasized the importance of entrepreneurship, innovation, and global competitiveness. He thanked all participants and Mr. Anowarul Abedin for his support and presented a token of appreciation to the resource person.
