ULAB CSE Hosted a Seminar for Earth Day 2026

As part of the Earth Day 2026 celebration at the University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh (ULAB), the Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) organized a seminar on April 21, 2026.

The seminar, titled “Technology-Driven Solutions for Sustainable Nutrition: Innovations for a Healthier Planet,” highlighted the growing importance of technology in ensuring sustainable nutrition and a healthier global ecosystem. The session was conducted by Md. Shahid Uddin Akbar, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Bangladesh Institute of ICT in Development (BIID).

In his talk, he emphasized the role of ICT and innovative digital solutions in addressing food security and nutritional challenges. The seminar witnessed active participation from both students and faculty members, who engaged in an interactive discussion and shared their perspectives on technology-driven sustainability. The initiative reflects the CSE Department’s ongoing efforts to promote awareness, innovation, and responsible technological practices in line with global sustainability goals.
