Dr. Muhammad Golam Kibria has been serving as a Professor & Head (Acting) in the Department of Computer science and Engineering (CSE). He achieved Ph.D. in Engineering in 2018 from Hankuk University of Foreign Studies (HUFS), South Korea with a focus on the Internet of Things (IoT) and Web of Objects.
Dr. Kibria has approximately 19 years of academic, research, and industry experience. He contributed to several standardization works at the International Telecommunication Union (ITU-T), which is a typical international standardization organization under the United Nations (UN). He attended several international conferences in Austria, Japan, Singapore, South Korea, Vietnam, and Bangladesh. His major interest includes IoT, semantic web, and Web-of-Objects. He chairs several international conferences including ICCIT 2021 and serves as a reviewer in several peer-reviewed journals.
Dr. Kibria is an enlisted BAETE, IEB Program Evaluation Team Member. He is a senior member of IEEE, USA. He is a member of Executive Committee 2022 and Activity Coordinator of the IEEE Computer Society Bangladesh Chapter.
